Could you peek at my profile and give me some feedback? I tried fleshing it out and redoing some of the formatting. Do you think it's adequate? Thanks! (By the way, I'm quickly becoming addicted to this site! My husband's annoyed ~.~)

Sending you a heart from me ( except I don't know how to draw one with keyboard symbols, so I have to do a hug instead): ((((kittenred)))

I once read about a missionary who was trying to convert the Native Americans to Christianity. The missionary was telling the story to the Chief of a particular people and the Chief listened respectfully and reverantly. When the missionary was finished, the Chief began telling him about the Great Spirit and the Creation of the world from his people's perspective. The missionary was angry and interrupted and said "no, no! that's false!" The Chief said "I listened to your stories. Why won't you listen to mine?"

Well, I'm not Danish so perhaps the humor was lost on me...but I did get a kick out of the atheist one. I guess when we look at it all, none of it really makes sense, does it? :)

Sorry if I was too sensitive, but that's the way the gooseberry grows on the vine and again, it would have made me feel the same way no matter what group was being referred to. Maybe the atheist one makes me laugh because of the redundancy of "nothing". I don't know. :)

Love the satiric description of christianity!! That's so Danish humor in a nut shell:D.
