(Little anecdote: our eight-year-old still believes in Father Christmas, and has been known to remark occasionally, when we found something too expensive, that we should simply ask Father Christmas for it, that way we wouldn't have to pay for the item out of our own pocket.... truly, Christmas makes no financial sense :D)
