Faith: Faith is when we take the Lord at His Word and trust that He will do what He says He will do.
2 Corinthians 5:7-- We live by faith, not by sight.
As Christians, our trust and hope is in the Lord; not in the things of this world. We have faith that the Lord has saved us; that He will be with us always; and that we will spend eternity with Him. We can't see these things but we KNOW that God is able to bring these to pass.
The world relies on what they can see--their hope is in this world and what it has to offer.
I'm thankful that the Lord saved me and that He has given me the faith to trust Him!

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:30 (NIV) I love how God restates and reminds us of this truth several times in the Bible:
Matthew 22:37 NIV Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
Luke 10:27 NIV
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

These a few of the verses I find encouraging. That proverbs one was my mantra when I stepped out on faith to leave my job and go into a ministry training program back in 2007
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Isaiah 41:10
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
One of my favorite verses is Galatians 6:9-10. It reminds me to never give up doing good to all people but especially to fellow believers.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

This is the verse that I think of when there are problems that my mind wants to dwell on or worry about.
