I did "I'm sorry I threw rocks at you that day." and wrote a fake letter from my faux-lawyer that said while I knew my restraining order wouldn't let me see or talk to my partner, I wanted to give them a mix as a gesture of goodwill.
The mix was half full of happy songs about friends and adventures (to remind us of better times), and half of depressed love-lost kind of stuff (because I was really, really sorry).
Carving your own stamps AND making tamales?! You got skillz, mija! (Yes, I'm feeling like a "señora". My baby cousin Laurita, 23, is having a baby of her own soon and the news aged me instantly. It shouldn't be such a shock, cashiers have been calling me "Doña" for years. I just didn't take it seriously. Sigh. Groan. Creak.)
Dude, seriously, those ornaments are even more special now seeing as my bf & I met 4 of the band members (of Flogging Molly) tonight! Chris (my bf) got a set list & then we got it autographed...with my lipstick of all things! lol! One of the guys even put on my lipstick! So yeah, the set list, ornament, ticket stub & lipstick (once I'm done using it) are all going to go into a shadowbox for Chris & I to look at & admire!

Happy late thanksgiving. It's almost hanukkah. Tomorrow is Shabbos. Don't roll. I'm doing the vigilantes mix because I can't not. I may burn you another cd just because. How do you feel about Say Anything? A little emo but I somewhat like them.
